Having a passion for teaching, i've decided to take on an educational fellowship post after completing my ophthalmic specialist training. I quickly found myself responsible for supporting the trainees in their FRCOphth exams preparation both locally, nationally and internationally.
Being an examiner at the college, i’m involved in constructing questions and stations for the exam. In addition, i received intensive training in teaching and learning at Imperial College London after being appointed as an Associate Clinical Teacher.
I’ve designed this course in a format of online mock exams to help simulate the real exam as much as possible. After recently running a trial series of mock exams with candidates joining us from various international locations, i was really encouraged to formally launch this course after receiving extremely positive feedback.
The course entails weekly online mock exams each running for 4 hours on Microsoft Teams, covering 12 stations simulating the real exam. More details on the exam structure can be found on the RCOphth website.
The course is flexible to join at anytime during the year (depending on the exam’s date). If you can’t attend any of the mocks, you will have access to the recordings to watch later on your own time. Although, attending & participating in the sessions is strongly suggested to maximize benefit.
